Amy Martorano serves as Partner and Broker for the Central Region of InSite EFS. Amy works with educational clients and property owners, managing intricate transactions for her clients on a national level. Throughout her professional career, Amy’s expertise has spanned a myriad of real estate transactions, and she is skilled in her innovative approach and unwavering determination in orchestrating successful deals. Amy’s comprehensive professional background spans acquisiti ons, dispositions, commercial leasing, asset management, appraisal, development, and renovation, as well as design.

Amy is licensed in Texas and California, is a member of CREW Austin, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Woodbury University.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Amy is a lover of the arts; she’s an avid concert-goer, enjoys exploring all forms of architecture but has a penchant for gothic cathedrals and modernism, and is a fashion and interior design enthusiast.

Benson is the Founder and President of InSite EFS. Benson’s first involvement with schools started in 1998 while working as Vice President of Development for a private preschool group overseeing site selection and real estate development.

In 2004, he founded InSite as a traditional commercial brokerage firm as well as BPSDG, a California based real estate development company. In 2007, Benson had the opportunity to work with his first charter school in California. Seeing that most schools were poorly represented by either residential real estate brokers or commercial brokers with little to no experience with the complexity of school real estate projects, he formed InSite EFS. Throughout Benson’s career, he has worked in various capacities for several real estate and brokerage development companies, both as a broker and a developer. His experience encompasses charter and private school development as well as site selection and over the past 28 years has in cluded development experience in office, retail and residential projects. His responsibilities have included land acquisition, market research, and site selection for both regional and national tenants, development and entitlement work, construction management, sales, leasing and tenant representation.

In his free time, Benson enjoys wakesurfing/wakeboarding with his family and friends, snowboarding and following Formula 1.

With nearly a decade of practical experience as a transaction coordinator, Crystal excels in managing intricate real estate transactions from inception to completion. Her proficiency lies in optimizing the process, maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical requirements, and providing unparalleled customer service.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Crystal loves to embark on journeys to new destinations, discover diverse wine regions, and attend sporting events alongside her family.

James joined our team at InSite EFS in 2024 as our Assistant GIS Analyst. Growing up in New Jersey, James earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Geographic Information Systems from Monmouth University. James’s journey in GIS began with a position as a Student Researcher at Monmouth University’s Urban Coast Institute, where he developed Python scripts for data analysis and created detailed maps for spatial analysis.

At InSite EFS, James leverages his knowledge in programming languages and GIS to deliver high-quality technical solutions and in-depth demographic analytics, helping our clients find the best possible locations for their developments. When James isn’t working on the latest GIS projects, you can find him on the golf course, watching football (rooting for the New York Jets), or tinkering with the latest tech gadgets. He enjoys exploring new technologies and watching professional sports.

Ryan began working at InSite in 2019 as our GIS mapping guru. Having grown up in South Louisiana, he first obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Geography from LSU before moving to Tucson, AZ in 2011. There, he earned a Master’s Degree in GIS from the University of Arizona and began his map-making career. He worked on multiple projects for environmentally conscious clients as a GIS Specialist before moving to Austin to work for Apple Maps. At InSite, he does in-depth demographic analytics to assist our clients in finding the best possible locations for their developments. In addition to this, he works with the rest of the team blending everyone’s independent specialties into a multitude of maps, diagrams and figures.

When Ryan isn’t making maps, you can find him at local breweries with his wife and two Australian Shepherds. He enjoys Texas BBQ, paddle boarding on the Colorado, playing ultimate frisbee, and watching baseball and football. Geaux Tigers!
