New Jacksonville Campus Marks Growth for Becoming Collegiate Academy
Becoming Collegiate Academy is taking an important next step with the opening of its new campus in Jacksonville.
The HBCU-inspired charter school will relocate to a 34,000 square foot former elementary school property for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. The updated campus is being designed to support up to 600 students, expanding access to high quality education for families in the area.
Since opening in Fall 2021, Becoming Collegiate Academy has added one grade level each year. The upcoming school year will include its first fifth grade class, continuing that steady growth.
This project reflects a broader trend in charter school expansion, where existing school properties are being repurposed to meet growing enrollment needs. The new campus will provide more space for learning while strengthening the school’s connection to the Jacksonville community.
We are proud to support Becoming Collegiate Academy in this next chapter and look forward to seeing its continued impact.
